The size of this scarecrow lacing card makes it better for slightly older children, and with some neat stitches around the edges it looks good on display. Just print onto card, punch or prick holes around the edges, and sew with a blunt needle, embroidery thread or wool. Older children could sew around his patches with small running stitches, and even sew some tiny buttons onto his shirt, too.
