Welsh Recipes

Here's a collection of recipes to try for St David's Day or any time. We make no claims for the authenticity of these recipes. They are certainly not ‘traditional’ but rather watered down versions that are more kid friendly (to make and eat!)

Bara Brith

Welsh Cakes

Welsh Cakes

Sarah says: These are my ‘supermum’ breakfast. I sometimes make up the dough the night before ready for the kids to help roll out and cut out the cakes at breakfast time. We use all sorts of shapes too.
