Did You Know?
Wildebeests are a large mammal that travel huge distances across Africa every year - often travelling between 500 and 1000 miles during migration. They migrate in huge groups every year when food and water run out. Even though they look like a bit like a cow or bull, they are actually a type of antelope!
Fun Fact: Over 1.5 million wildebeest travel together in the 'Great Migration' - this is the biggest migration on the planet.
