Here is a really fun, pirate themed game which encourages children to listen carefully to words and find rhyming families. This game is best printed onto card or laminated.
Instructions
When you have printed out the chests, cut out the slots in the middle. You could stick the chests onto boxes with a hole cut into them to collect the 'treasure'.
Print out the coins and mix them up.
Look carefully at each chest. Each one has a word on it. The children need to find the coins that have a word that rhymes and post it into the correct treasure chest.
